Elstree Screen Heritage — The website of Elstree Screen Heritage – a volunteer group founded by Paul Welsh MBE and Bob Redman, who are the co-founders of The Elstree Project.
University of Hertfordshire — The University, based in Hatfield, is the other partner organisation in The Elstree Project, as part of the BA Film and Television programmes it operates.
Howard Berry — Howard is Senior Lecturer in Post-Production on the BA Film and Television degrees at the University and Directs, Produces and Edits the interview films with his students who record (both camera and sound) and light for the interviews. Through this project, over 40 students have been given the opportunity to film.
The BECTU History Project — a collection of oral history recordings made with practitioners in the film, television, radio and theatre worlds. By August 2008 there were nearly 600 interviews varying in length from 30mins to over 20 hours in the cases of Sidney Gilliat, Ronnie Neame and Roy Baker. In total there are over 4000 hours of material.
The Overlook Hotel — a site dedicated to Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, created by Lee Unkrich, director of Toy Story 3.
ADAPT — a five-year research project, funded by the European Research Council and based at Royal Holloway, University of London. The aim of the project is to research and document the history of British broadcast television technology between 1960 and the near-present.
