The Elstree Project’s short documentaries explore individual productions and particular aspects of Elstree and Borehamwood’s film and television heritage.

Drawing upon our oral-history interviews, archive research and location filming, these films preserve first-hand memories from the people who worked behind the scenes and reveal some of the skills, experiences and practical ingenuity involved in creating productions known throughout the world.
